Every developer is motivated by his quest for developing software that adds value to community, and I am no different. But the seeds were sown by my mentor, Mike G, to whom I owe not only whatever I have learnt at my short stint of 2 years at BNY, but also that development does not mean to produce a software, it's the journey from WHY you are developing it to HOW useful your product is. He taught me to question at each step of product development. Gradually, he introduced me to test driven development, and I was fascinated how easily I could break down complex problems to numerous tests. He always stressed at continous learning and inculcated the same in me. Mike, is my mentor, my coach but most importantly I have found a friend in him, one who holds your hand in times of need and guides you. I am fortunate enough to meet him.
Sandeep maheswari, a person who has touched and changed thousand of lives(including mine), is a well known inspirational speaker of India. His journey of life has being quite tumultous but he came out victorious. His life is a piece of inspiration for lot of people. I was fortunate to meet him in person at a session in Hrishkesh, India, and learnt how to look at life from a different perspective. Prior to that, I was an ardent follower of his videos and drew motivation out of it. Had it not been him, I would certainly not have covered my journey from a Mechanical Engineeer to Full-Stack Web Developer.
